Sharon Henry-Blythe

Sharon serves as co-convener and change agent for the Mill City Kids Initiative. She has dedicated her professional career to improving the lives of children, families, and communities. She is the co-author of Present Vision Future Work: Learning from the Anti-Bias Leadership Project, the Infant/Toddler Discovery Project (an analysis of the status of formerly homeless children), and Culture Matters: The importance of cultural knowledge with families who have experienced homelessness. She is a past member of the Minneapolis Public School Board of Education, served as chair of the Minnesota Visible Child Work Group and the Governor’s Interagency Coordinating Council (ICC).  In 2016, Sharon was appointed to the Governors Early Childhood Council.
