Christine Smith

Christine serves as a Facilitator for the American Indian Historical Context Dialogue and Engagement Process as well as an adviser for government system operations.  Christine has been working in systems to address inequities for families impacted by historical trauma for over ten years. She is currently working for the Minnesota Department of Health as the Health Equity and Tribal Grants Supervisor for the Office of Statewide Health Improvement Initiatives (OSHII). Her previous work experience includes a combination of state and nonprofit work for the Minnesota Family Investment Program. Since 2009 she has been training communities and non-profits in the area of historical trauma and for the last two years training on the ACEs study. Her passion is helping women reach their highest potential through healing and education.
