Dana Castillo, MA

Dana supports CAL in organizational development, capacity building and operations consulting. Dana is an operational thinker committed to the idea that liberation is something we practice in the day-to-day, through the structures and relationships that shape our daily work. Her approach centers on operational justice as a lens for building futures that prioritize those most harmed by oppressive systems. They bring a decade of experience in operations, organizational development, and movement-aligned infrastructure, helping communities leverage tools and processes that balance complexity and clarity while nurturing integrity and honoring the relational. They previously served as Managing Director at Orchid Capital Collective and Operations Manager at Resources for Abortion Delivery, and hold an MA in Social Work with a concentration in Social Administration and a BA in English from the University of Chicago. Dana currently leads For the Love of Ops and organizes with the whalefall collective.
