Lindsey Sand, LHSE/LHNA

Lindsey supports CAL's rural community initiatives focusing on individual and population health and related systems change. As a life-long resident of rural Minnesota, Lindsey's work is grounded in and actively supports the power of local communities and smaller, community-rooted organizations to collaboratively discover and drive transformation. Her career began in direct service and program development, experiences that instilled a deep appreciation for the power of collaboration. 

Lindsey is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than 15 years of executive leadership experience across population health, senior care, and community-based services. She is an innovator, strategist, and implementer and her leadership includes serving on boards and committees for non-profit and governmental organizations shaping the future of healthcare. Lindsey’s work with coalitions, state agencies, and local stakeholders underscores her belief that collaboration is essential to building sustainable, equitable systems of care. Lindsey holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and is a licensed Health Services Executive and Nursing Home Administrator.
