Nancy Bordeaux

Nancy serves as the Lead Facilitator for the American Indian Historical Context Dialogue and Engagement Process. Nancy is CEO/President of Tawacin Tanka, providing cultural competency training to diverse nonprofit organizations and state and federal agencies in and outside of Minnesota. Nancy is Sicangu Lakota and her upbringing by her grandparents on the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota enabled her to retain her Lakota thought and language. Nancy also provides cultural and experiential-oriented presentations, workshops, retreats and staff trainings for professionals and community members in transcending the impact of historical trauma through cultural intervention and healing work.
