Sam Simmons, LADC

Sam serves as the Lead Facilitator for the African American Historical Context Dialogue Engagement Process. Sam has developed and manages a culturally-specific trauma informed project and curriculum that engages African American males to promote healthy relationships to end violence against women and girls and community violence. Sam regularly provides historical trauma training for diverse groups that has been locally and nationally acclaimed.  He is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor who has over 27 years of experience as a behavioral consultant specializing in practical culturally sensitive trauma informed work with African American males and their families.
